
Anthony BOCHONPartner
Anthony Bochon is the founding partner of BOCHON & FULMINI. After graduating with a law degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a bachelor degree in History from the Université Saint-Louis (USL) in 2010, he received his LL.M. from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) in 2011. He is a member of the Brussels Bar (French-speaking Bar) since 2011. He has been seconded from 2015 to 2017 as part-time legal counsel to the Belgian subsidiary of Fortune 500 industrial conglomerate specialised in various industrial and consumer products (ranging from chemicals to electronic devices).
Anthony Bochon is a part-time lecturer and researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB, French-speaking) where he lectures on EU Law and Economic Law (including IP Law).He is currently pursuing a PhD thesis on principles of Innovation Law. He successfully obtained his Ph.D. research certificate in 2022.
He regularly serves as an independent expert for the European Commission and currently serves also on the advisory board of the H2020 LifeSaver project.
He has contributed to more than 30 scientific publications since 2010 and authored a reference legal textbook (in French) named “Code de la recherche et du développement technologique” (Code of R&D laws), which is the first textbook to gather 396 legal texts under international, EU and Belgian laws pertaining to R&D activities, from the lab to the fab.
In 2014, he received the Jean-Jacques Boels award from the Brussels Bar.
He regularly speaks at tech-oriented conferences.
In December 2020, he was recognized as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
He is a member of several professional associations including the International Bar Association and is the vice-president of GLAWBUS, the Global Law and Business Organisation. He speaks fluently French, Dutch and English.
Aline VERNETAssociate
Aline VERNET is an associate of Bochon & Fulmini and member of the Brussels Bar since September 2024.
After graduating with a master degree law (specialisation in economic law) from the Université libre de Bruxelles, she has obtained an advanced master in Innovation and Strategic Management from the Solvay Brussels School.
Her curriculum has allowed to get a full picture of the business world, both from a legal and from an innovation strategy point of view and to better identify the challenges organisations are confronted to.
Aline practices in French, Dutch and English.
